Missions Ministry of First Baptist Church of Mt. Holly

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 18-20

FBCMH makes an intentional effort to provide opportunities for our church community to lead others to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. We do this through involvement with local ministries to feed, house, and cloth those in need in our communities, and through financial and spiritual support of these ministries and selected missionaries serving in the US and around the world.

Our fellowship is encouraged to share the gospel through personal involvement in our programs and through cards, gifts, and prayers for our missionary families. Throughout the year, our missions team organizes activities to support programs managed through twelve local ministries including food pantries, homeless shelters, prison and drug recovery programs, a crisis pregnancy center, and even a local Christian school classroom of students. We also support 11 missionaries and maintain a webpage of recent letters about their experiences, praises, and prayer requests. Although we have not sponsored a short-term mission trip since the pandemic, we do have a small group in our church who would welcome this opportunity again.
